Summary

"In October 2015, Alex Mehedff travelled to Syria and Iraq, to produce a TV show on the war against the Islamin State. He took his Leica to recor the journey, with no particular pretentions. However, on returning to Brazil, Alex perceived that his photos revealed much more than he had noticed when taking them. He found the thread that took him back to the universe of his Syrian ancestors, at the same time revealing surprising aspects of daily life in the war zones. This is what makes this book the record of a double discovery"--Cover page 4.
